Who we are
We started in March 2022, two weeks after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, when people needed help directly — not in six months when a proper process could be set up.
Several years later, we're a registered Dutch foundation with a volunteer board, ANBI (recognised charity) status, EU-funded projects, and a community of regular volunteers and donors.
We work with refugees — people displaced by war, repression, or persecution. The problems we solve are specific: the chaotic weeks after arrival, the gaps that large systems don't reach, the isolation that sets in when the paperwork doesn't stop and there's no one in your corner.
Our Values
Zero Tox Policy
No toxicity — toward the people we help, toward our partners, or within our team.
This means we respect everyone's time and contribution; treat partners as equals, honor their expertise, and don't change the terms mid-way.
This does not mean we avoid hard conversations or sweep problems under the rug.
We’ve helped
over 6,000 refugees
committed to growing impact
Targeted aid to refugees
We fill the gaps left by NGOs and governments, providing essentials like children's supplies, sports equipment, appliances, and mental well- being support to help refugees rebuild their lives.
Community & Culture Events
We co-organise events and initiatives that connect people through culture, discussion, and shared experiences.
Our goal is to build a supportive, engaged community and deepen understanding of social and political contexts of Russia and neighbouring countries.
